It was lovely to see so many parents and pupils at our Cheese and Wine Evening. We hope you enjoyed looking back over the year and hearing about our vision for the future.  How nice it was, to celebrate the pupils’ achievements and recognise the hard work and support of our school community.

On Friday the whole school visited the Air Tattoo. It was a spectacular air-show and a day packed with fun and special opportunities to climb inside planes and meet pilots; thanks to all our parent helpers, in particular Mrs Bunny who made our VIP visits possible. To top off a wonderful day, Jasmine and Joseph came back from the STEM challenge victorious – Air Tattoo STEM challenge presentation winners 2017!

Sherborne forms part of the Windrush Benefice which is made up of the five village parishes of Windrush, Sherborne, Aldsworth, Little Barrington and Great Barrington.

The church at Sherborne is attached to Sherborne House and the school holds regular services there throughout the year at all the big calendar events like Christmas, Easter and Harvest Festival.

A special leavers’ service is held at the end of the summer term for all those going on to secondary school. The vicar, Reverend Nick Fisher, visits the school regularly and also sits on the school governing body.
