It was lovely to see so many parents and pupils at our Cheese and Wine Evening. We hope you enjoyed looking back over the year and hearing about our vision for the future.  How nice it was, to celebrate the pupils’ achievements and recognise the hard work and support of our school community.

On Friday the whole school visited the Air Tattoo. It was a spectacular air-show and a day packed with fun and special opportunities to climb inside planes and meet pilots; thanks to all our parent helpers, in particular Mrs Bunny who made our VIP visits possible. To top off a wonderful day, Jasmine and Joseph came back from the STEM challenge victorious – Air Tattoo STEM challenge presentation winners 2017!

Foundation Stage

They say that the early years are the most precious for a child’s development. In their first year at Sherborne your four year old will learn through a mixture of structured play and first hand experiences.

To support the ‘seven areas of learning’, in the Foundation Stage classroom, we also explore nature and investigate science at our forest school in the woods and exercise in the schools fantastic grounds. All activities are organised in a safe, secure environments which are risk assessed beforehand.
