Welcome to Sherborne C of E Primary School
Set within beautiful National Trust‑managed land and beside a gently flowing brook, Sherborne C of E Primary School offers a truly special setting in which children can learn, grow and flourish. Founded by the Church of England in 1824, our small rural school has a long‑standing and well‑earned reputation for nurturing each child with exceptional care and compassion.
We are proud to be a welcoming and inclusive community where every child and family is known, valued and supported. Children are at the heart of all that we do, and this is reflected in the rich learning experiences we provide both within and beyond the curriculum. As a result, our pupils develop confidence, curiosity and a genuine love of learning.
Above all, Sherborne is a happy school. It is a place where children feel safe to be themselves, relationships are strong, and learning is joyful — a school where both children and adults truly enjoy being part of the community.
